Dan Umaña

Vice President

In his capacity as Vice President, Dan Umaña has all the responsibilities of the President when they are not able to fulfill their responsibilities. During the meetings, he has the responsibility of focusing the Board of Directors so that the agenda is covered (sergeant at arms).  He is present at all the Board and Parent meetings.  Dan also helps the group and the committees wherever needed. 

Dan Umaña earned his B.A in Religious Studies from UC Santa Barbara and has been part of Nuestras Raíces since his daughter joined in 2011. Dan is the Facilities Manager at Mercado La Paloma in Los Angeles.
