Nuestras Raíces has its own dance/music studio, providing the following classes:

 

Mondays

4: 00 p.m. Beginning Mexican dance I -- Children
5: 30 p.m. Intermediate Mexican dance -- Children
7: 00 p.m. Beginning Mexican dance II -- Children

 

Fridays

4: 00 p.m. Advanced Mexican dance -- Children
5: 30 p.m. Intermediate Mexican dance -- Children
7: 00 p.m. Advanced Mexican dance -- Teens
8: 30 p.m. Advanced Mexican dance -- Adults

 

Saturdays

10:00 a.m. Selected World Dance, by invitation only
11:30 a.m. Performing Ensemble, by invitation only

 

Workshops

We also provide master classes and workshops throughout the year, by invitation only

 

Performance Opportunities

Building self-esteem is critical in creating new leadership in our communities. Therefore, Nuestras Raíces provides many performing opportunities to its members. In addition to the many community performances our members are involved in, Nuestras Raíces performs in venues such as the James Armstrong Theater, the Marsee Auditorium, Royce Hall, Disneyland, and many others.
